The course aims to teach the first steps towards professional photography. Students will learn technical aspects such as lens classification, optical characteristics, and the impact of shutter speed and aperture on image quality and sharpness.
Composition fundamentals including center-oriented and diagonal design, rhythm, and the use of negative space will be extensively covered. Additionally, students will explore artificial and natural lighting, photo editing, color correction, and various genres of photography such as portrait, landscape, street, object, and documentary photography. By the course’s end, students will curate their inaugural group exhibition.
